More from Author

In Short:

The iPhone SE 4 is expected to launch in early 2025, featuring Apple Intelligence AI capabilities. It’s rumored to have a design similar to the iPhone 14, an OLED display, and a 48-megapixel camera. The phone may also include Apple’s A18 chip, Face ID, and a USB Type-C port, along with various storage options. These upgrades aim to enhance performance while being cost-effective.

The iPhone SE 4 is anticipated to be launched next year, according to recent reports. A new analysis suggests that this budget-friendly model may incorporate artificial intelligence capabilities, powered by Apple Intelligence. However, enhancements will not be limited to AI, as additional upgrades are also expected.

iPhone SE 4 to Reportedly Get Apple Intelligence

A report from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman in his Power On newsletter indicates that the iPhone SE 4 could see its launch at the beginning of 2025. This aligns with earlier assertions that Apple aims for a first-quarter 2025 rollout for this non-flagship model.

As detailed in the report, the forthcoming iPhone SE 4 may receive significant upgrades, the most notable being the integration of Apple Intelligence features right at its launch. While the specific AI functionalities to be included remain undisclosed, it is expected that some features necessitating intensive on-device processing may be absent.

Gurman notes that the smartphone’s design could mirror that of the iPhone 14, boasting an OLED panel that extends “across the full device.” Previously, reports suggested that Apple might utilize 6.1-inch Super XDR displays for the iPhone SE 4. Some of these panels are anticipated to be sourced from the displays of the iPhone 13, reportedly repurposed via LG Display as a cost-saving strategy, while a significant portion of the displays is expected to be produced by BOE Technology.

Moreover, the iPhone SE 4 is projected to feature a single 48-megapixel rear camera and may be powered by <Apple’s A18 chipset>. RAM options could include both 6GB and 8GB LPDDR5 variants. Additional reported upgrades are set to include the implementation of Face ID, a USB Type-C charging and data port, among other enhancements.
