The company is on the lookout for “more partnerships” with other OEMs to act as a system integrator for bidding on projects and rolling out the automatic train protection system.
During an analyst call, Sanjai Kumar, CMD of RailTel, mentioned that bids will be placed for routes like Delhi-Mumbai and Delhi-Howrah/Kolkata. The Kavach OEMs currently include Medha, HBL Power, Kernex, and soon to be approved Quadrant and Digitronics.
Edge Data Centres and Future Goals
RailTel has finalized the setup of edge data centers, with 102 centers to be rolled out in the first phase. The tender was won by Techno Electric & Engineering Company. Exciting times ahead!
