Commitment to Quality and Sustainability

Indosol’s commitment to providing top-notch solar products and reducing India’s reliance on imports shines through with the commissioning of this facility on March 31, 2024. The facility is equipped to produce 500 megawatts (MW) of fully automated, solar photovoltaic (PV) modules using cutting-edge technology.

World’s First Fully-Integrated Quartz-to-Module Manufacturing Plant

Once fully operational, this plant will be the world’s first fully-integrated quartz-to-module manufacturing facility with an impressive capacity of 30 gigawatts (GW) upstream and 20 GW downstream. The entire project is set to be developed in phases over the next five years.

Sustainable Development Goals

Indosol Solar Private Ltd plans to invest ₹1,300 crore in the initial phase of the project, which will span across 30 acres of allocated land. The integrated project will require 8,348 acres of land, including ancillary industries and green areas, showcasing their commitment to sustainable development.

Phases of Progress

By December 2024, phase 1A of the project will be completed, providing direct employment to 800 individuals. The full Phase 1, with a capacity of 5GW, is expected to be completed by 2025 at an investment of ₹15,000 crore. By 2028, the facility aims to achieve its full capacity.
